Youth Program Coordinator, Clinical Services

Licensed Practical Nurse, Operating Room

Wage: $25.05 to $26.60 per hour.
Job Description: Provides practical nursing services in an operating room environmental as a member of an integrated surgical team performing varied surgical interventions. Consults, confers, and collaborates with other members of the surgical team in facilitating safe and effective surgical interventions through the performance of scrubbing and circulating duties in accordance with established standards and protocols. This includes pre-operative, operative, and post-operative activities such as assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting client care, and providing support to clients and their families.
Education/Experience: Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses with the full range of current licensed practical nursing competencies and graduation from an accredited O.R. Program for LPNs plus 1 year recent related experience working as a LPN in acute care, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Licenses/Certificates: Current full practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC. Current CPR certification required. Please only apply for this posting if you have operating room certification for LPN.

Job Description: Childcare person required, in our home, for two children, ages 3 and 5. Regularly with 2 to 3 days per week (17 to 20 plus hours) and additional occasional care on an as needed basis (i.e. evenings, appointments, etc.) Duties include undivided attention to children, some meal preparation, arts/crafts, outdoor play, picking children up from school, supervising children during extracurricular activities, basic tidying up after daily activities.

Child Care Provider

Job Description: Child care for my 8-year old boy/girl twins, preferably in my home but open to other options. Schedule is shift work: One week 6am to 3:30pm, Following week 3pm to 11pm. Care would be needed for both shifts until September, then at that time care for two weeks a month would be needed. Person would be in charge of making sure house rules are enforced, warming up food and basically cleaning up after yourself. You will be expected to interact with the kids. My kids are very well behaved, happy, friendly and are fairly self-sufficient.
Experience: Some experience with children preferred. Would suit someone who is patient, kind and likes kids.
Skills/Abilities: Dependability and being reliable is a must.
Licenses/Certificates: Babysitting course would be helpful but not mandatory. References are a must!

Skating Coach

Job Description: The Revelstoke Skating Club is looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and artistic coach to work with our head coach Sabrina Hinson. The position will involve coaching at all levels, in all disciplines. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing group lessons for skaters from CanSkate through to StarSkate, as well as private lessons. The ability to choreograph and select music for individual programs and prepare skaters for competition is also required. Revelstoke Skating Club has approximately 50 skaters with 15 hours of ice time per week. Our season runs from October through mid-March, with the option of holding a fall school in September. We hold an annual ice show in March.
The community of Revelstoke is a thriving, active community, with a new ski resort and many recreational opportunities. We attract many young families and want to provide a multi-faceted program to help promote the passion of skating in our town.
